Senior Bridge Engineer : (Posted January 10, 2011)
The successful candidate for this position will be a Professional Engineer within the Province of Alberta with approximately 10-15 years of experience in the design of prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, and steel bridge structures. Familiarity with Alberta Transportation processes is an asset.
This position encompasses a broad range of bridge engineering duties including preparation of technical reports, proposal writing, preliminary and detailed design of bridges, project management during construction, and mentoring of junior staff members.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a keen ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
